Fresh Fruit Salad

This is a real winner with kids.

Ingredients
  • 4 cups fresh strawberries, halved
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 2 kiwifruit, peeled and sliced
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 2 cups seedless grapes, halved
  • 1 (8 ounce) container plain or vanilla yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
  1. In a large salad bowl, combine strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, bananas and grapes.
  2. In a small bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, sugar and vanilla; mix well.
  3. Serve with fruit.

Macaroni and Cheese

Most toddlers love macaroni and cheese.

Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon plain flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/4 cups cooked macaroni
Directions
  1. Heat butter in pan, add flour cook over medium heat stirring regularly, until mixture thickens. Gradually stir in milk, until mixture boils and thickens.
  2. Add cheese and macaroni and mix well. Stir until cheese is melted.
  3. Serve.

Caramel French Toast

Most toddlers love macaroni and cheese.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 Tablespoon Corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 6 Egg; beaten
  • 12 Slices Sandwich bread
  • 1 ts Vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
Directions
  1. Combine sugar, butter, and corn syrup in a small saucepan; cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
  2. Pour syrup mixture into a 13x9x2 inch baking dish. Place 6 slices of bread on top of syrup mixture. Top with remaining 6 slices of bread.
  3. 3. Combine eggs, vanilla, milk, and salt, stirring until blended. Pour egg mixture evenly over bread slices. Cover and chill 8 hours.
  4. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for 40 to 45 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve immediately.
